When tragedy strikes our politically divided nation, how should Christians respond? The assassination of Charlie Kirk has unleashed waves of grief, anger, conspiracy theories, and even celebration across America—revealing the dangerous ways political identity can overshadow our identity in Christ.

This episode carefully examines what we know about Kirk's death while addressing a profound theological question: Is Charlie Kirk truly a Christian martyr? By exploring the biblical definition of martyrdom and comparing it to modern political activism, we uncover important distinctions between dying for faith versus dying for politics. The answer requires nuance, humility, and careful examination of what scripture actually teaches about witnessing unto death.

Beyond the question of martyrdom, this episode provides spiritual guidance for navigating cultural crises with a Christ-centered perspective. Instead of being consumed by outrage or fear, believers are called to five kingdom mindsets: placing Christ's kingdom first, speaking truth in love, practicing courageous humility, maintaining eternal perspective, and recognizing spiritual warfare. These principles help Christians rise above partisan reactions to embrace a response that honors God in divisive times.

The path forward isn't about choosing political sides but remembering our primary allegiance to Christ. Through prayer, discernment, and compassionate action, we can demonstrate a different way—one that doesn't compromise truth but delivers it with grace and love. As Jesus taught us, even in times of violence and confusion, we're called to be peacemakers and witnesses to a kingdom that transcends our temporary political divides.

00:00:08.150 --> 00:00:10.532
Hey, welcome to Renewed Mindsets.

00:00:10.532 --> 00:00:14.521
I'm Rick and I'm so glad you're here Now.

00:00:14.521 --> 00:00:16.044
Today, this is going to be different.

00:00:16.044 --> 00:00:19.330
I recorded it with a heavy heart.

00:00:20.373 --> 00:00:27.594
This week the news broke that Charlie Kirk was assassinated, speaking truth at Utah Valley University.

00:00:27.594 --> 00:00:31.791
Now I know a lot of us are hurting, confused and angry.

00:00:31.791 --> 00:00:33.706
Some of you are afraid.

00:00:33.706 --> 00:00:41.473
We see people celebrating, people gloating, people using this as fuel for culture warfare.

00:00:41.473 --> 00:00:47.972
We see media flooding with conspiracy, rumors and false claims.

00:00:47.972 --> 00:00:54.130
But we are Christians born again, followers of Christ.

00:00:54.130 --> 00:01:08.816
We're not called merely to react as the world reacts, not to be driven by fear or rage, but to discern what is true, to stand in love and to walk in truth.

00:01:08.816 --> 00:01:24.855
Now I believe what God wants from us in times like this is a renewed mindset, a mind shaped by Christ, not by outrage, not by political identity first, but by the gospel.

00:01:24.855 --> 00:01:35.373
And we need to ask is Charlie Kirk a martyr and how do we move forward in this as people who follow Jesus?

00:01:35.373 --> 00:01:53.251
This is a little odd for Ren mindsets because I don't think I've ever recorded something based upon what happened in the news, any current events.

00:01:53.251 --> 00:02:04.929
I mean, I've talked about holidays, but they roll around every year, so this is going to be a little different than what you're normally used to, but let's revisit what we do know right now.

00:02:06.010 --> 00:02:16.383
Okay, on September 10th 2025, charlie Kirk was shot while speaking at a Turning Point USA event the American Comeback Tour at Utah Valley University.

00:02:16.383 --> 00:02:24.731
The shooter fired from a rooftop of Lucy Center, 142 to 200 yards away.

00:02:24.731 --> 00:02:28.955
Now that's from the media, we don't know exactly.

00:02:28.955 --> 00:02:33.302
He used a high-powered bolt-action rifle.

00:02:33.302 --> 00:02:35.867
There was approximately 300 people at the event.

00:02:35.867 --> 00:02:46.592
Private security was present, there was local university police as well, and security has been criticized for being lax in some of those respects.

00:02:46.592 --> 00:02:52.812
Now Tyler Robinson, 22, is considered the suspect.

00:02:52.812 --> 00:03:00.544
He allegedly confessed or implied involvement to a family member, which led the family member to contact authorities, authorities.

00:03:00.544 --> 00:03:25.664
Now, alongside this, there's been brisk spread of information, misinformation, misidentifications, false accusations, allegations about party affiliations, even conspiracy theories that implicate foreign governments.

00:03:25.664 --> 00:03:26.647
So this is what we know as of now.

00:03:26.668 --> 00:03:51.645
We do not yet have full clarity on motive, on whether Christian faith was the direct reason, or if politics alone, or ideology or something else, and that matters deeply for how we think biblically about martyrdom, because people are saying that Charlie Kirk is a martyr.

00:03:51.645 --> 00:03:59.183
So before we answer if he was a martyr, we need to clarify what martyr means.

00:03:59.183 --> 00:04:06.854
The word martyr in Scripture comes from the Greek martis, which means witness.

00:04:06.854 --> 00:04:11.631
It's somebody who testifies to Christ, even unto death.

00:04:11.631 --> 00:04:22.071
Now, usually this has meant death because of faith in Christ or refusal to deny Christ or because of their witness to the gospel.

00:04:23.259 --> 00:04:27.069
Now we've got examples of true martyrs in the Word of God.

00:04:27.069 --> 00:04:31.865
Stephen in Acts 7 was stoned because he preached Christ.

00:04:31.865 --> 00:04:34.069
James, the brother of John.

00:04:34.069 --> 00:04:36.072
He was executed.

00:04:36.072 --> 00:04:42.244
And others, the apostles, persecuted Christians in the early church.

00:04:43.064 --> 00:04:45.627
Those who are killed for being Christians, persecuted Christians in the early church.

00:04:45.627 --> 00:04:46.468
Those who are killed for being Christians.

00:04:46.468 --> 00:04:56.322
Now in the Old Testament it has examples of faithful witnesses who suffered or died for God, prophets who were persecuted.

00:04:56.322 --> 00:05:01.410
Now also the New Testament teaches that believers are going to suffer for righteousness' sake.

00:05:01.410 --> 00:05:04.375
Jesus in the Sermon on the Mount.

00:05:04.375 --> 00:05:09.187
Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

00:05:09.187 --> 00:05:11.213
That's Matthew 5.10.

00:05:11.213 --> 00:05:14.803
And John 15.20,.

00:05:14.803 --> 00:05:17.970
If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you.

00:05:17.970 --> 00:05:25.291
Now these sufferings might include slander or loss or imprisonment and sometimes death.

00:05:26.997 --> 00:05:30.463
But a political assassination is not automatically martyrdom.

00:05:30.463 --> 00:05:32.749
The motive matters.

00:05:32.749 --> 00:05:39.728
If somebody is killed because of their political speech, is that the same as being killed for faith.

00:05:39.728 --> 00:05:43.545
Now it might overlap, but it might not.

00:05:43.545 --> 00:06:02.052
Also, christian martyrdom usually carries the notion that the person's witness for Christ or their refusal to deny Christ was central to their death, that the persecutor hated them for Christ or for carrying out Christian witness.

00:06:03.259 --> 00:06:07.725
Sometimes politics and faith are intertwined, sometimes they're distinct.

00:06:07.725 --> 00:06:12.370
So now we can consider whether we can consider Charlie Kirk a martyr.

00:06:12.370 --> 00:06:17.947
Now it's possible to see this in a partial sense, or at least think it through carefully.

00:06:17.947 --> 00:06:21.889
We need to acknowledge both what we do know and what we don't know.

00:06:21.889 --> 00:06:28.502
Okay, first, what we know is that Charlie Kirk was a professed Christian.

00:06:28.502 --> 00:06:32.511
He identified as an evangelical Christian.

00:06:32.511 --> 00:06:34.721
That was part of his public persona.

00:06:34.721 --> 00:06:39.011
He aligned some of his activism with Christian worldview values.

00:06:39.011 --> 00:06:40.233
This matters.

00:06:40.233 --> 00:06:41.101
Okay.

00:06:41.101 --> 00:06:47.795
Now, his faith and his politics intertwined in a lot of the contexts.

00:06:47.795 --> 00:07:03.319
A lot of his political stances were rooted in moral convictions which for many Christians are inseparable from faith, like the sanctity of life, religious freedom, free speech, morality, pornography.

00:07:03.319 --> 00:07:08.598
A lot of Christian activists are not only political but they're spiritual.

00:07:08.598 --> 00:07:18.035
And he died speaking, speaking in public, addressing an audience.

00:07:18.035 --> 00:07:46.305
Now that public witness might include convictions, he could be seen as exercising his duty to speak truth regardless of cost If somebody dies while doing that, that has parallels to a testimony, but the complications are many Because there's some arguments against calling him a martyr or at least exercising caution.

00:07:48.468 --> 00:07:55.355
The motive for his murder is not clearly faith-based.

00:07:55.355 --> 00:08:08.233
We don't have any evidence that the shooter acted because Charlie Kirk was an evangelical Christian or, most importantly, because of his faith in Christ or because he refused to deny Christ.

00:08:08.233 --> 00:08:12.480
The motive seems more ideological or political.

00:08:12.480 --> 00:08:13.843
The motive seems more ideological or political.

00:08:13.843 --> 00:08:21.062
Unless you have evidence the killer hated him for his faith, it's hard to say he died for Christ.

00:08:21.062 --> 00:08:25.565
Now, political activism is not the same as preaching the gospel.

00:08:26.826 --> 00:08:46.500
There's a difference between advocating conservative politics, even if it's driven by moral conviction, and proclaiming Christ, making disciples or doing the work of the gospel in a way that invites persecution, primarily for Christ.

00:08:46.500 --> 00:08:50.764
The many political activists don't primarily preach Christ or call people into relationship with him.

00:08:50.764 --> 00:08:53.048
That difference matters in the idea of martyrdom.

00:08:53.048 --> 00:08:56.414
And then there's just a lot of unknowns.

00:08:56.414 --> 00:09:06.870
We don't know whether his public ministry was explicitly gospel-centered in such a way that his Christian faith was the central cause of his death.

00:09:06.870 --> 00:09:12.312
Now a lot of people are going to argue yes and others are going to argue no.

00:09:12.312 --> 00:09:25.482
But until more evidence comes up, like the shooter's motive or his statements, calling him a full martyr in the classic biblical sense may be premature.

00:09:25.482 --> 00:09:38.557
So my conclusion, my conclusion, is Charlie Kirk can't yet be ambiguously declared a biblical martyr in the sense of someone killed for Christ.

00:09:38.557 --> 00:09:49.379
He may be in many people's eyes and he might function as a martyr for free speech, for conservative values, for political activism.

00:09:49.379 --> 00:09:55.933
He might be somebody whose death, in light of his Christian faith, inspires many.

00:09:55.933 --> 00:10:01.652
But in biblical theology, martyrdom is narrower than that.

00:10:01.652 --> 00:10:07.827
His faith, christ gospel.

00:10:07.827 --> 00:10:12.235
It's got to be central to what caused the killing.

00:10:12.235 --> 00:10:13.941
It's got to be central to what caused the killing.

00:10:13.941 --> 00:10:31.153
So now, regardless of whether we label him as a martyr, christians need to face, christians must face what the scriptures teach about suffering, about witness, about persecution, because Christ warned us that following him would cost us things.

00:10:31.753 --> 00:10:37.496
Now here's some key texts from the Bible Matthew, chapter 5, verses 10-12.

00:10:37.496 --> 00:10:44.419
Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake.

00:10:44.419 --> 00:10:45.383
John 15, 18-21.

00:10:45.383 --> 00:10:49.206
If the world hates you, know that it hated me first, because you are not of the world.

00:10:49.206 --> 00:10:52.528
Romans 8, 35-39.

00:10:52.528 --> 00:10:56.769
Nothing can separate us from the love of Christ, including death.

00:10:56.769 --> 00:10:59.844
2 Timothy 3, 12,.

00:10:59.844 --> 00:11:04.933
All who desire to live a godly life in Jesus Christ will be persecuted.

00:11:04.933 --> 00:11:10.428
1 Peter 3, 13-17,.

00:11:11.250 --> 00:11:13.254
Suffering for doing good is commendable.

00:11:13.254 --> 00:11:18.686
Always be prepared to make a defense, but do so with gentleness and respect.

00:11:18.686 --> 00:11:22.734
Now, these passages help us shape our mindset.

00:11:22.734 --> 00:11:38.761
They do not promise comfort in the form of absence of suffering, but they do promise that God is with us, that our suffering is not wasted, that God sees and ultimately, justice and vindication belong to him.

00:11:38.761 --> 00:11:45.216
Now this is all still fresh Right now, in this moment.

00:11:45.256 --> 00:11:47.743
There are so many different voices out there.

00:11:47.743 --> 00:11:56.630
Some are loud, many reactions are visceral, but the scripture warns us against certain responses.

00:11:56.630 --> 00:12:00.085
Romans 12, 19.

00:12:00.085 --> 00:12:05.692
Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God.

00:12:05.692 --> 00:12:09.431
For it is written vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.

00:12:09.431 --> 00:12:15.672
Then we got Ephesians 4.29.

00:12:15.672 --> 00:12:21.072
Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such is good for building up.

00:12:21.072 --> 00:12:28.013
Even when we're angry or grieving, we must guard our tongues.

00:12:28.013 --> 00:12:31.506
Romans 12.15.

00:12:31.506 --> 00:12:33.424
Rejoice with those who rejoice.

00:12:33.424 --> 00:12:35.551
Weep with those who weep.

00:12:35.551 --> 00:12:40.870
Yeah, celebration over death people.

00:12:40.870 --> 00:12:49.474
If somebody dies, even a person that we have major disagreements with, we must weep.

00:12:49.474 --> 00:12:55.192
This is opportunity for us for repentance and redemption.

00:12:55.192 --> 00:13:02.212
There's opportunity for repentance and redemption with the people that you're crying and weeping with.

00:13:02.212 --> 00:13:04.402
Now.

00:13:04.442 --> 00:13:10.173
When political identity becomes our primary identity, we risk losing the way of Christ.

00:13:10.173 --> 00:13:16.269
The world is going to polarize us, but our primary loyalty must be of Christ.

00:13:16.269 --> 00:13:18.120
The world is going to polarize us, but our primary loyalty must be to Christ.

00:13:18.120 --> 00:13:25.089
We can't be idols to a party.

00:13:25.089 --> 00:13:31.259
The ideology of these parties and my pastor says it best they're.

00:13:31.259 --> 00:13:34.870
Both of these parties are wings of the same bird.

00:13:34.870 --> 00:13:45.807
I'm not going to go into detail on that, just think about it In Proverbs 18, 13 and Ephesians 4, 25,.

00:13:46.769 --> 00:13:51.535
We must ensure truthfulness, investigations, evidence.

00:13:51.535 --> 00:13:58.441
We don't need to be spreading lies and rumors Now.

00:13:58.441 --> 00:14:03.447
Here's how I believe that true born-again Christians should move forward.

00:14:03.447 --> 00:14:08.140
We need to allow ourselves to mourn.

00:14:08.140 --> 00:14:17.861
The killing of any person is grievous, the weeping with the family, mourning for what's been lost.

00:14:17.861 --> 00:14:23.595
He was a father, he was a husband, he was a son.

00:14:23.595 --> 00:14:27.158
We should have grief over that.

00:14:27.158 --> 00:14:29.977
We should have compassion because of that.

00:14:29.977 --> 00:14:36.061
We should have empathy for even those people who disagree with Charlie.

00:14:36.061 --> 00:14:39.998
Like we're best buds.

00:14:41.570 --> 00:14:44.179
Christ calls us to love even our enemies.

00:14:44.179 --> 00:14:55.100
We need to pray for full investigation, for transparency, that the motive can be uncovered and that justice can be served.

00:14:55.100 --> 00:15:11.125
And we need to speak truth where you see false narrative or harmful lies, if you feel the need to speak out, you need to correct the misinformation in humility, with gentleness.

00:15:11.125 --> 00:15:17.783
We need to avoid demonizing broad groups.

00:15:17.783 --> 00:15:23.402
Not everybody who opposed Kirk's policies are celebrating his murder.

00:15:23.402 --> 00:15:28.509
Not everybody who disagrees are enemies.

00:15:28.509 --> 00:15:30.894
Not everybody who disagrees are enemies.

00:15:30.894 --> 00:15:35.322
We need to speak with conviction, but also love.

00:15:35.322 --> 00:15:41.629
We need to edify.

00:15:41.629 --> 00:15:45.724
Don't let your anger turn into sin.

00:15:51.309 --> 00:15:55.870
Now, even among Christians who differ politically, we have to stay united in Christ.

00:15:55.870 --> 00:16:01.801
Truth doesn't require disunity when handled in love, and we need to resist the us versus them spirit.

00:16:01.801 --> 00:16:12.090
We need to resist letting political identity be the first thing that people see.

00:16:12.090 --> 00:16:15.984
We have to let this sharpen us.

00:16:15.984 --> 00:16:21.231
We're in the end times people.

00:16:21.231 --> 00:16:26.102
Let it awaken a serious commitment to us to live for what Christ called us to truth, holiness and courage.

00:16:26.102 --> 00:16:28.875
Holiness and courage.

00:16:28.875 --> 00:16:31.081
And we need to be ready for hardship.

00:16:31.081 --> 00:16:36.312
We need to be ready for persecution of different kinds.

00:16:36.312 --> 00:16:41.101
We need to use this as a reminder that the battle is not against flesh and blood.

00:16:41.101 --> 00:16:46.667
It's not.

00:16:46.667 --> 00:16:52.798
We need to put our hope in God and not despair, because in Christ, death is not the final.

00:16:52.798 --> 00:16:54.261
It's not.

00:16:54.261 --> 00:17:01.035
The gospel gives us hope beyond the grave, even when evil seems to triumph.

00:17:01.035 --> 00:17:03.721
God works all things together for those who love him.

00:17:03.721 --> 00:17:05.463
Romans 8.28.

00:17:05.463 --> 00:17:12.534
We need to let this tragedy draw some hearts towards him.

00:17:12.554 --> 00:17:22.615
Now, what does God want our mindset to be in this cultural moment, especially if the times ahead are going to be difficult?

00:17:22.615 --> 00:17:25.141
Well, the first mindset kingdom first.

00:17:25.141 --> 00:17:29.270
Our loyalty is to Christ's kingdom.

00:17:29.270 --> 00:17:36.761
It's above political, above cultural, above racial, above economic identities.

00:17:36.761 --> 00:17:38.986
Kingdom first.

00:17:38.986 --> 00:17:43.539
The second mindset truth in love.

00:17:43.539 --> 00:17:55.782
Not truth at all costs in a way that destroys relationships or reflects pride, but truth spoken with humility and gentleness and compassion.

00:17:55.782 --> 00:18:02.300
Our third mindset courageous humility.

00:18:02.300 --> 00:18:05.278
Courage to stand up for what's right.

00:18:05.278 --> 00:18:11.980
Humility to say I don't know enough, I may have been wrong, I need correction.

00:18:11.980 --> 00:18:19.680
The fourth mindset what matters ultimately is eternity.

00:18:19.680 --> 00:18:22.365
We need to have an eternal perspective.

00:18:22.365 --> 00:18:30.824
What we do now, how we respond, it's going to echo beyond this life.

00:18:30.824 --> 00:18:40.324
And the fifth mindset spiritual warfare, awareness.

00:18:41.070 --> 00:18:52.182
We are living in times when the enemy wants to divide us, to incite hate, to draw Christians away from Christ-likeness through fear and accusation and rage.

00:18:52.182 --> 00:18:57.942
We need to be alert, we need to pray and we need to resist divisiveness.

00:18:57.942 --> 00:19:06.417
So here are some things that you might need to ask God to do in you this week and things you might actually do.

00:19:06.417 --> 00:19:11.038
We need to take time in prayer and solitude.

00:19:11.038 --> 00:19:16.281
We need to confess any bitterness, any anger, desire for revenge.

00:19:16.281 --> 00:19:22.561
Ask God for peace, ask him for clarity, ask him for love.

00:19:24.792 --> 00:19:25.556
We need to listen.

00:19:25.556 --> 00:19:32.303
Most of the time, what we're seeing or the information we're getting is not from talking.

00:19:32.303 --> 00:19:34.314
It's from reading.

00:19:34.314 --> 00:19:38.493
Admit it, everything you know about this.

00:19:38.493 --> 00:19:44.738
You saw on social media, right, how many of us actually watch the news.

00:19:44.738 --> 00:19:47.316
But we need to listen.

00:19:47.316 --> 00:19:54.134
We need to listen to those who are hurting, including those with different political views.

00:19:54.134 --> 00:19:59.163
We need to try to understand, to empathize with them.

00:19:59.163 --> 00:20:05.402
Use your voice wisely when speaking on social media with friends and family.

00:20:05.402 --> 00:20:14.518
Friends and family.

00:20:14.518 --> 00:20:15.423
Think before posting.

00:20:15.423 --> 00:20:16.990
God, I have been bitten so many times.

00:20:16.990 --> 00:20:23.553
Is this what you write, going to build up or tear down?

00:20:23.553 --> 00:20:24.594
Is it true or is it you just trying to get a jab in?

00:20:24.614 --> 00:20:25.836
We need to act justly.

00:20:25.836 --> 00:20:28.681
We need to support bodies of accountability.

00:20:28.681 --> 00:20:31.144
We need to support the legal process.

00:20:31.144 --> 00:20:33.438
We need to support truth-seeking.

00:20:33.438 --> 00:20:36.457
We need to worship.

00:20:36.457 --> 00:20:39.919
We need to lean into the worship of God.

00:20:39.919 --> 00:20:42.574
He is our theological anchor.

00:20:42.574 --> 00:20:47.743
Not Republicans, not Democrats.

00:20:47.743 --> 00:20:55.083
Yeah, we need to serve.

00:20:55.083 --> 00:20:57.938
Help your community, care for those that are affected.

00:20:57.938 --> 00:21:02.634
Let love be seen in what you do.

00:21:02.713 --> 00:21:14.130
So is Charlie Kirk a martyr Now?

00:21:14.130 --> 00:21:19.842
My heart says maybe in part, but we have to be humble and truthful enough to recognize that the Bible's definition demands more clarity than we now have Now.

00:21:19.842 --> 00:21:23.575
Whether or not we call him a martyr, his death is tragic.

00:21:23.575 --> 00:21:30.144
His influence was real and his faith it was publicly professed.

00:21:30.144 --> 00:21:39.799
We can honor what was good, we can call out what's wrong, we can learn what's needed and let God refine us.

00:21:39.799 --> 00:21:43.215
Now just take heart, people.

00:21:43.215 --> 00:21:46.218
Christ is alive.

00:21:47.770 --> 00:21:52.742
Though violence and injustice and evil happen, they don't have the last word.

00:21:52.742 --> 00:21:54.894
We need to walk in love.

00:21:54.894 --> 00:21:59.423
Let us not be consumed with hate.

00:21:59.423 --> 00:22:05.276
Let us be peacemakers where we can and witnesses always.

00:22:05.276 --> 00:22:25.019
Let's let this moment renew our mindset so that we're shaped more fully into the likeness of Jesus, lovers of truth, men and women of prayer, people who stand when others fall, who bless when others curse, who speak when others fear.

00:22:25.019 --> 00:22:30.673
Let's pray, heavenly Father.

00:22:30.673 --> 00:22:33.039
Our hearts are heavy.

00:22:33.079 --> 00:22:38.741
Today we lift up family and friends of Charlie Kirk and everyone shaken by this tragedy.

00:22:38.741 --> 00:22:45.300
Comfort them in their grief, bring healing where there's pain and clarity where there's confusion.

00:22:45.300 --> 00:22:49.621
Lord God, we confess our own anger and fear and frustration.

00:22:49.621 --> 00:22:54.517
Guard our hearts from hatred and despair.

00:22:54.517 --> 00:23:01.013
Teach us to respond with the Spirit of Christ, full of grace and truth.

00:23:01.013 --> 00:23:07.365
Father, help us discern what is true in a world of rumor and division.

00:23:07.365 --> 00:23:11.551
What is true in a world of rumor and division.

00:23:11.551 --> 00:23:13.736
Protect your church from being torn apart by politics or pride.

00:23:13.736 --> 00:23:15.338
Unite us around the gospel.

00:23:15.338 --> 00:23:22.419
Make us peacemakers in a culture of outrage and witness of your love in a time of hostility.

00:23:22.419 --> 00:23:27.592
Strengthen us to stand for righteousness even when it costs us.

00:23:27.592 --> 00:23:33.604
Fill us with courage to speak truth and humility to serve those who oppose us.

00:23:33.604 --> 00:23:43.661
Keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and the perfecter of our faith, who endured the cross and despised the shame.

00:23:43.661 --> 00:23:50.742
We place our hope not in leaders or movements, but in you, father, our eternal King.

00:23:50.742 --> 00:23:56.403
May your kingdom come out and your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

00:23:56.403 --> 00:24:00.861
In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray Amen.

00:24:11.590 --> 00:24:17.895
That's all for today, but I'll be back with more unfiltered biblical truth and undeniable prophecy.

00:24:17.895 --> 00:24:20.156
The time to wake up is now.

00:24:20.156 --> 00:24:24.700
If today's episode challenged you, don't keep it to yourself.

00:24:24.700 --> 00:24:26.480

Stay watchful, stay holy, stay renewed.

00:24:48.403 --> 00:24:58.958
Until next week.

00:24:58.958 --> 00:25:01.069
I'm Rick, be an encourager, not a discourager.

00:25:01.069 --> 00:25:08.471
I love you, see ya.
